In a lot of ways Joey carries himself like a regular guy from South Philly. I think that’s one of the things people find so endearing about him. I don’t know if he was always like that or if it came with age and a lot of time in the can. I never met him but know people who are close to him and EVERYBODY I know loves him. His biggest mistakes seem to be when he brings people around that aren’t from Philly. As far as I know nobody from Philly ever ratted on him other than Natale and that was different (I don’t follow this stuff as close as most of youse so I might be wrong there). I think that says a lot about how liked and respected he actually is. I take what Phil said about him with a big grain of salt too. The guy allegedly almost killed his first cousin and they obvious dislike each other a lot. Joey has got really lucky throughout the years and I’m rooting for him to hang it up and live out his life selling merch and getting paid for appearances and stuff. He put in work, took over a borgata before he was even a friend, did his time like a man, and however he wants to end his story should be up to him. Watching him make grilled cheese on an iron doesn’t take anything away from that.
