Beyond expectations is all I can say at this point. Best team in the league record wise all without Cole. I just hope this isn't a repeat of 2022 where they had a great first half and then cratered in the second. But love what I'm seeing up to this point!

I think it's a much better team than 2022. That year we had a ton of walk offs at Yankee Stadium, the ridiculous Carpenter run, very few guys hitting. I do think the pitching has over-performed and surely they can't keep going at this rate? But looking like a great team, can they get it done in October? We'll see

It's really about time to let him go once his contract is up. He's a great player and is MVP level when healthy, reminds me a lot of Mike Trout. Can put up the numbers when healthy but how many years out of 5 do they go the whole year and really help???

The Chris Sale trade so far has been a steal too. I think we'll show up eventually but I just hope we don't go too far into the hole trying to figure things out

True about the hitting and pitching. Soto's gonna need to stay healthy because him and Judge are killing the ball. Sadly, I agree the pitching is overperforming but I'll take it. Schmidt was having a career year before injury and they gonna have to watch Gil's innings but excited to get Gerrit back (again, hope he stays healthy).

Still plenty of baseball left and I'm surprised with Sale after the last few years in Boston. Philly's been on a tear but again, it's only mid-June. Still about 100 games left in the season.

To be fair he didn't have much of a supporting cast in Beantown and I think the change of scenery saved him

We looked pretty good today vs the Yanks

Yanks need to get it together. They've lost 13 out of their last 18. Better turn it around quick before Baltimore pulls away with the division.

I felt that their offense needed at least a bit more before the season but this lineup is really something. The pitching hasn’t been great either but I think the glaring problem is the lineup. Judge and Soto are having fantastic years and it’s being wasted. I would hope that Brian Cashman is looking to upgrade the offense bigly. Because just adding Stanton back in the mix and counting on Dominguez to perform when he’s called up is not going to be enough.

I think Stanton and Dominguez will give a boost to the lineup. I'd rather they be in the lineup than not. The Yanks did make a trade today for Jazz Chisholm Jr. for Agustin Ramirez, Jared Serna, and Abrahan Ramirez. He can play centerfield, second, and short so Torres may be gone since Chisholm still has 2 years of control after this season. Glad they are still holding onto Dominguez and Jones. I've been hearing rumors they'll at least listen on them.

I don’t see Dominguez or jones being traded when verdugo and Soto are both free agents at the end of the year

They've gotta resign Soto. He's been a beast this year and they gave up too much to only have him for 1 year.

They played like a team that could win the Series back in April and May. Just gotta get back to playing that type of ball.

Playoffs are almost here. Yanks have a 4 game lead. I still feel uneasy about the team. Especially their pitching and their hitting in big spots. Very weak in certain areas of the lineup. Compared to every other team, they have a good chance at making a deep run despite all of that.

They need to win the division and get that first round buy. Hitting seems to be clicking at the right time but I'm with you, nervous about the pitching: both starting and relief.

And the Asterisks are GONE! Looks like no 8 straight ALCS appearances. The "dynasty's" over!

Good win for the Yanks last night. Honestly, Chisholm was out at second base but I don't care, a win's a win and I'll take it. Judge is going to have to learn how to hit in October if they're going to go all the way this year.

Yanks are BACK in the ALCS! I like their chances. Detroit's been hot as of late so I'd almost rather say I'd rather face the Indians at this point. But glad they can rest until Monday. Stanton had a great series. I still say if they're going to win, Judge is gonna have to hit. He seemed to maybe be turning a corner yesterday so hopefully that'll carry over.

Yanks are looking good but I'm still concerned they can't hit with runners in scoring position. I'm glad they're taking their walks and getting on base and putting runs on the board that way. But Cleveland's pitchers aren't locked in yet. If they do (or the NL team should the Yankees make it to the Series), they're gonna need to hit in those situations. Glad they protected home field. Now off to Cleveland to try and take one!

The Yanks gave up a heartbreaker yesterday. Down 3-1 most of the game, come back to go ahead in the 8th and tack on an insurance run in the 9th and lose it in 10. Gotta turn the page and get the W tonight.

And the Yanks are back where they belong in the World Series! Great run so far and hoping they can get those last 4 wins!
