Chase gets all the credit for the Sopranos but lets be real here. He's overrated as a producer/writer, a one hit wonder really in modern tv.

What has he done since the Sopranos? Nothing. His failed bullshit project the Many Saints of Newark was a joke and should have never been made to begin with.

Bottom line.........Chase fucking sucks balls.

Hard to make that claim about a guy who wrote one of the greatest tv shows of all time (the best in my opinion). Set the stage for shows like Breaking Bad, The Wire, Deadwood, etc. Guy wrote and created arguably the best tv show ever as well as arguably the most influential. You are right in that he hasn't done much outside the Sopranos, but he really doesn't need to.

The Sopranos would change television for all time. But it was HBO who gave him that chance.

Agreed. Chase didn't do shit after Sopranos or before Sopranos. I actually think that David Chase is the perfect example of a man who made it because he got help from all the right people. He reminds of the kid in school who paid his classmates to do his homework and then never did shit himself. I bet he's at home right now doing absolutely fucking nothing

Look at what he did after the Sopranos. He released Saints of Newark and did everything on his own and it fucking sucked.

This guy I believe only wrote two episodes of the Sopranos. The Pilot and then the Finale.

He's not as good as people think he is.
