A good scotch or a good bourbon?

I personally prefer a good bourbon neat.

Tommy DeSimone would only drink a certain brand of Canadian Whisky. He always wanted to show that he was tougher than everybody else so he had to drink a very niche brand to show that he was an expert.

Im sure there are mob guys that prefer bourbon but from what I understand most Italian mobsters prefer blended scotch (j&b, cutty sark, Johnny walker) Canadian whisky (crown royal, Canadian club) or brandy. The guys that have more money/better palate or are bigger drinkers may prefer single malts or cognac
