He made some cult classics. I know he helped many in Hollywood get some breaks, Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, and James Cameron, maybe Ron Howard not sure on Howard, and actors Jack Nicholson, David Carradine, Tommy Lee Jones, Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, Robert De Niro, Sandra Bullock, many others.
