Ralph Cifaretto I need your opinion on his fashion sense.

Ralphie probably wears those tough guy army cosplay 'Grunt Style' T-Shirts - nothing funnier than these overweight douches wearing a t-shirt that says 'I got your Six' :lol

"OMERTA" tattoo on chest, Al Capone pic on bike, tough guy posing on social media...this honestly reads like a 101 course on how NOT to behave as a serious wiseguy.
And yet I've read what some Chicago locals have to say about Carparelli and most seem to point out the fact that he's a buffoon but at the same time he's a stand up guy with a reasonably tough crew around him.

He obviously wants to be the next John Gotti.

Paul Carparelli worked full time as a firefighter in the suburban town of Bloomingdale in the 1990s but gave it up for a low-level position as a debt collector for the Cicero faction of the mob.

As a teenager, Carparelli joined the 12th Street Players, a Cicero-based gang founded in the late 1960s and credited with being the first street gang in the west suburbs, where Carparelli grew up. He racked up numerous violent arrests in his teens and 20s for bar fights, street beatings and several incidents in which he allegedly pulled a gun during an altercation, according to court records. In 1995, Carparelli was arrested at a Chicago Blackhawks game after he allegedly punched a man in the face “without warning” during a conversation, records show.

After leaving the fire department Carparelli turned dealing in cocaine. He was arrested in July 2013 as he pulled into his driveway with his son in the car, agents found “distribution amounts of cocaine” on him, prosecutors said. The FBI also recovered two guns, $170,500 and nearly $200,000 in jewelry — including a gold bracelet with the name “Paulie” spelled in diamonds — in a safe hidden in his home’s crawlspace, court records show.

While free on bond awaiting trial, Carparelli was accused of threatening the life of a witness against him outside a Chicago-area Wal-Mart, pulling up alongside an employee of the witness and saying, “Tell him he is a (expletive) rat. Tell him he knows what happens to rats,” prosecutors said. Even after Carparelli was jailed for the stunt, he continued to make threats from the Metropolitan Correctional Center, a federal jail, prosecutors said. In intercepted emails and prison calls, Carparelli allegedly called his business partner a “fink” after he stopped returning calls and accused him of cooperating with the government, prosecutors said. He also claimed the man owed him money.

"Doesn’t matter if I get six months or six years, when I’m done were gonna have a talk,” Carparelli wrote in all capital letters in an email to the man. “So put your big boy pants on and get ready.”
“The 1,500 means nothing,” Carparelli wrote. “It’s the point that matters!!!!!! … See you when I get out!!!!!! Partner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

After going to work as a collector, he was soon picked up on wiretaps with agents collecting hundreds of hours of conversation with Carparelli spilling the beans on virtually everything the crew was up too. The recordings showed Carparelli to be a callous operative looking to make a name for himself after convictions had sent several Outfit bosses to prison. He told one FBI informant within the crew “This position doesn’t happen all the time. This is like a once in a lifetime (expletive) thing, if this is what you want to do, if this is the way you want to live your life.”

In 2016 he was convicted of extortion involving deadbeat businessmen. Carparelli was caught on surveillance arranging for the beating of suburban car dealership owner for failing to pay back a $300,000 loan from Michael “Mickey” Davis. Davis was a longtime partner of reputed mob lieutenant Salvatore “Solly D” DeLaurentis and had Outfit connections that purportedly went all the way to boss John DiFronzo.

I think people should read the actual Mickey Davis indictment to fully understand the Outfit - and the fact that Andrew Rovito was the government's witness against Davis, despite him continuously being on mob charts. These guys are all toast after this debacle as it relates to the Outfit - Carparelli is not collecting anyone's loans today. He's as good as shelved//shunned and Gigi Rovito lost a lot of juice after his brother flipped and he hired a bunch of white gang bangers to collect a debt that was likely DiFfronzo/DeLaurentis money in the first place.

Carparelli is Chicago's Gene Borello - and my money says he's on youtube soon.

If this was 1984 and not 2024, guys like Paul wouldn't be around anymore. They would have been eliminated from the Outfit and found in the trunk of a car on the south side.

Oh back in the days he definitely would've been found with his throat cut. When they were a powerhouse the Chicago Outfit seemed to be one of the most ruthless organizations in the history of organized crime when it came to policing its own members. They had a downright terrifyingly low tolerance for fuck-ups.
