Mike Tyson is in Amsterdam to open a store and that is attracting a lot of attention. The boxing legend recently canceled a fight against Jake Paul due to stomach problems, on November 15 the duo will now enter the ring
Hollander, since you posted this, I'll post about an encounter I had with another former heavyweight champ:
I had an early morning business meeting in LIsle, ILL, outside Chicago, in '87. I was waiting at O'Hare for my return flight to Newark in the early p.m. I looked up and, standing less than 100 feet from where I was sitting, was Muhammed Ali. He had quit boxing more than five years earlier, but he was still one of the most famous men in the world, and certainly the most recognizable American. And yet, there he was, standing stock-still, all by himself--no entourage, no bodyguards, no fans. From that distance he looked great--he hadn't gone to fat like most former heavyweights, no gray in his hair, face unmarked, nose not flattened. But he looked completely lost--a million miles away. After a couple of minutes, a little middle-aged woman showed up, took him by his wrist and elbow, and turned him in another direction. Just then, a few little kids spotted him and came running. A ghost of a smile crossed Ali's face, but he still looked a million miles away.
He'd been diagnosed with Parkinson's by then, and "Mask Face" is one of Parkinson's symptoms. But that lost look--that seeming helplessness--was a sad reminder of all the blows he'd absorbed during his career.

Socialite sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian were among the global celebrities spotted in India on Friday to attend a lavish three-day wedding ceremony staged by Asia's richest man Mukesh Ambani.
I was surprised they withheld evidence. After hearing that, not surprised the case was thrown out. Surprised it ended that way but I still feel bad for the victim's family.

Trump shooter was able to fly a drone unnoticed shortly before attack Wednesday, July 24, 2024 (11:31 PM) - NOS News In this article:
At a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump was targeted in a shooting attempt by Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old man who had been scouting the area with a drone prior to the attack. About two hours before the speech, Crooks flew the drone for more than 11 minutes, within 600 feet of the stage. Explosives and a remote control were later found in his car, but they had not been activated.
Crooks had been searching his laptop for information about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, which FBI Director Christopher Wray said gave him an indication of his thinking. While Crooks' exact motive has not yet been determined, his searches indicate he was interested in public figures.
The shooting left one bystander dead and two others seriously injured, while Trump himself suffered only minor injuries. Crooks was shot at the scene by a sniper.

Hundred thirty years ago in 1889 as Paris was hosting the World’s Fair, the iron lady became instantly the city's iconic monument embodying the modernity and the engineering feat of this Era. The engineer Gustave Eiffel fought for years to erect in the heart of Paris the tallest tower ever built, seen by many as ugly and out of place at the time. Against all odds, he took the helm of a gigantic building site and revolutionized the construction technique. Revisit this historic saga and engineering challenge in this detailed account and high end docu-drama !
Wolves are protected animals in Europe, but they become a problem here. You will be prosecuted if you shoot one. They now want to shoot problem wolves but if it's a mother protecting her young pack I'm against it!!

The father of the 14-year-old student accused of opening fire at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the deadly shooting, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced Thursday.
Colin Gray, 54, was charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children, the GBI said.
At a news conference on Thursday evening, Chris Hosey, director of the GBI said that the father was arrested for "knowingly allowing his son, Colt, to possess a weapon."
Barrow County Superior Court Judge Currie Mingledorff told the teen he could get life in prison if convicted -- the maximum sentence due to Gray's age. For adults, the death penalty would have been possible.
With victims' families in the courtroom, Colt Gray appeared briefly in handcuffs and chains wearing a green shirt and tan pants.
Judge Mingledorff told Colin Gray he could get 30 years in prison for each second-degree murder count and up to 10 years on the involuntary manslaughter counts. He also faces up to 10 years on each of eight counts of cruelty to children.
The defendants did not enter pleas and they did not request bond during the hearings.
I heard the diary of Anne Frank is banned at schools in some US states like Florida and Texas that's ridiculous one of the best and most read books world wide.
