Investigation into cocaine trafficking . After distributors, the SPVM targets customers
They arrested alleged clients of the network targeted two months ago, which would be part of the Hells Angels according to our information, and notably got their hands on more than six other kilograms of cocaine, two kilograms of crack, two firearms and almost of $275,000 in cash.

Six people, including two women, were arrested.

Geordy Rolando Fernandez-Brito, 28, Naoufel Chkyrate, 18, Ahmad Boujrada, 26, Antoine Olivier Kaddari, 26, Melissa Mokrani, 21, and Jacynthe Valenzuela-Petit, 32, all from Montreal, were arrested or are subject to a warrant.

They face charges of drug trafficking and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

Fernandez-Brito and Boujrada are also charged with possession of an unloaded restricted firearm with easily accessible ammunition and Mokrani with possession of a prohibited firearm.

Fernandez-Brito also faces counts of obstructing peace officers and escape from lawful custody, and Chkirate faces a charge of obstruction.

Fernandez-Brito, Boujrada, Valenzuela-Petit and Mokrani remain detained while the others have been provisionally released under conditions.

Up to 10 kg per week
These arrests constitute the fourth phase of an investigation called Atlas, the objective of which was to dismantle a network specializing in the distribution and trafficking of large quantities of cocaine in Montreal.

The individuals arrested Wednesday are suspected of having been distributor-clients of the organization who could obtain supplies of one to ten kilograms of cocaine per week, according to the evidence accumulated by the police.

Some would have been particularly active in the northeast of the metropolis.

The network would have sourced cocaine in the Toronto region and would have favored the transport by vehicle of a few kilograms each time, sometimes making a round trip between the Queen City and Montreal in the same day.

During several searches carried out on March 28 as part of this investigation, members of the Antigang got their hands on 104 kilograms of cocaine – a record for the SPVM – valued at nearly 2.3 million, 600,000 pills. methamphetamine and protonitazene tablets – an opiate more powerful and dangerous than fentanyl and heroin –, around twenty handguns, including a submachine gun, thousands of rounds of ammunition, more than 65 devices for transforming pistols into weapons automatic and high capacity chargers.

So far, around fifteen individuals have been arrested, including a relative of a member of the Hells Angels from the Montreal section.
