Infamous Joe Valachi once explained how old-time ‘Camorra’ leader, Alessandro Vollero, while they were both serving time in prison, warned him about the differences between he and Valachi (who were fellow Neapolitans,) and the Sicilians….

Valachi recounted, “Alexander told me, he expressed it this way. If you hang out with a Sicilian 20 years and you have some trouble with another Sicilian, this Sicilian that you hang out with for 20 years will turn on you.”
