The obvious ones: Travis Bickle (TAXI DRIVER), Jake La Motta (RAGING BULL), Vito Corleone (THE GODFATHER PART II). One I don't think gets talked about enough is Max Cady from CAPE FEAR.

In "Raging Bull," DeNiro gave the most intense performance by a male actor since Brando in "Streetcar." My next favorite DeNiro role was as Johnny Boy in "Mean Streets."

Midnight Run is probably my all-time favorite feel good movie. Absolutely love that one. I must've seen it a 100 times over the years

For me it is his roles in Taxi Driver and GF2 which are his best.

I thought he was hilarious in Meet the Parents, but I also enjoyed his performances in Men of Honor and the Irishman
