Double murder in the Caserta area: the Marrandino brothers killed in the street. There is a catch

Two men killed and found a few tens of meters from each other. It happened in Orta di Atella , in the province of Caserta where a double murder took place just before 2pm today, near the Succivo exit of the 7bis state road. The victims are two brothers . Their names were Marco and Claudio Marrandino, aged 39 and 29 respectively, originally from Cesa . The eldest was a lawyer and entrepreneur with a background in politics. Seven years ago he was also president of the Cesa municipal council, after being elected on a civic list.

A few hours after the ambush, the Marcianise police arrested a 53-year-old worker believed to be the perpetrator of the double murder. According to initial investigations, the man was aboard his car and the two victims in their BMW car. Both cars were stopped and it seems that the three were arguing when the worker, who had no criminal record, pulled out a gun and fired, killing the two brothers.

One of the two bodies was inside a white BMW. While the other was not far away, about ten meters away, immersed in a pool of blood and holding a cell phone in his hand. Among the hypotheses is that it was an ambush by organized crime.
The two deaths occurred a few hours after the arrest of Emanuele Libero Schiavone , son of the Casalesi boss, the repentant Francesco "Sandokan" Schiavone and a few days after the raid which took place on his home in Casal di Principe .
