I really should read that book again. Dr gonzo is one of my favorite authors it's been a long while since I read that book.
There was actually a Hells Angels book before that one, which I think was the first outlaw biker book ever.Freewheelin Frank, it's transcribed interviews with a young Secretary of the Frisco Angels. It's been reprinted now, I have an original. It's not like Thompsons book.
More like a window into another time, like The Bikeriders book.
