Fugitive Marco Ebben shot in Turkey

Fugitive Dutch criminal Marco Ebben was shot in Turkey two weeks ago during a chase. Reliable sources report this to Crimesite . He was said to have been in hospital for five days and had surgery on his abdomen and rib cage.

His lawyer Henk-Jan Kuipers would neither confirm nor deny the news to Crimesite on Monday, but confirmed today that it is true. “Yes, unfortunately,” says Kuipers.

Marco Ebben is said to have been shot at an unknown location in Turkey as he rode in a convoy of three cars and was chased by two motorcycles. The group around Ebben fired back at his attackers, but the Dutchman was hit by several bullets and ended up seriously injured in the hospital.

He was said to have been there for five days and had surgery on his abdomen and rib cage. He was also shot twice in his right hand.

Ebben is now said to be recovering from his injuries. It is unclear from which angle the assassination attempt came.
