To the best of my knowledge, the "New York" Chapter of the Hell's Angels is no longer located in Lower Manhattan, as it was for decades. Nor has it been for many years already.
Nowadays, (like so many other true, dyed-in-the-wool "New Yorkers") They've relocated their membership out to Nassau County, on Long Island...out to the town of Hempstead.
They took over a fortress-like industrial building, on a large property, and then protected it by encasing the property behind a high, razor-ribboned fence.
German Shepard guard dogs roam the lot, and 24/7 video surveillance monitors all comings and goings.
If I'm not mistaken, this particular L.I.-based chapter hosts about two-dozen fully patched members, and dozens more hang-arounds.

It was just a few blocks off Houston Street, and a flew blocks north of Little Italy. Their clubhouse was located in what is considered to be the East Village. Not the traditional "Greenwich Village' on the west side that most everybody in the world knows about, and talks about. But it "was" still The Village. The Village's more "gritty"side, if you will. lol.
