Thelma Giroux was a showgirl from LA who hooked up with Genovese mobster Johnny "The Bug" Stopelli. She allegedly committed suicide by jumping out a window while Stopelli was there but it's kind of suspect....he was never charged. It's an interesting story.
Good move, MS. This particular story is a very good contribution to this thread, because it's very apropos.
PS: My money says that Thelma must have been breaking Johnny the Bug's balls one night, so he threw her out the window, smack dab, landing her right onto the pavement along Broadway in midtown Manhattan. Lol.
