THE OFFER

The behind-the-scenes story of Albert S. Ruddy producing THE GODFATHER. I don't know which parts are fact and which parts are fiction but it's still an enjoyable story. Embellishments for dramatic purposes come with the territory and a 100% complete accurate telling shouldn't be expected by the audience. The cast was terrific with the likes of Miles Teller, Juno Temple, Burn Gorman, and Dan Fogler all dealing out heavyweight title performances. However, Matthew Goode as Paramount head Robert Evans still manages to outdo them all. Each episode was engaging and seemed to fly by, even at a runtime of almost an hour a piece. It rekindled my love of the film, which I rewatched today. It also motivated me to dust off my copy of the novel which I've had for a few years but never picked up. Just started today!
