Some say Genovese heavy "Benny Eggs" Mangano was related to Gambino crime family boss Vincent Mangano and Philip Mangano. The brothers were related to the Outfit's "Dago Lawrence" Mangano.
But this hasn't been confirmed.
Back in the old days many people thought that Chicago's "Dago" Mangano allegedly had ties to the Manganos-Gambinos but as you already said, it seems theres still no evidence regarding any blood relation. Also, im not sure if there were two Phillip Manganos, one being the brother of Lawrence and the other one to Vincent Mangano....again, Im not 100% sure and i have to check my stash.
