Large ton of weed from Canada seized near Breda

The Customs of the Breda region seized a large amount of marijuana during a check on Wednesday 17 July. This catch was only released by the Public Prosecution Service in Breda on Tuesday.


A total of 1340 kilos of marijuana was found in two containers from Canada. Machines were also loaded in the containers.

A sniffer dog from Customs was deployed during the check. The dog barked, and after further investigation it turned out that marijuana was hidden in the machines.

Both containers were destined for a company in the Netherlands.
