I give talks on subjects in American history. One of my newer talks covers Ellis Island and immigration. I use a lot of photos of Ellis Island in its heyday, then I show the complete clip of young Vito's passage to America, making the point that FFC evoked the entire process with fanatical attention to detail. The audiences always spontaneously applaud after seeing that scene.

The two scenes where Brando contorts his face in agony--after learning of Sonny's murder and at Bonasera's funeral parlor--by themselves were Oscar-worthy.
