'Piet Costa had key witness next to him in jail' (UPDATE)
In 2021, the current crown witness Dominique K. was placed next to Roger “Piet Costa” P. (53, photo), who was convicted of large-scale cocaine trafficking, among other things. According to the Algemeen Dagblad, this is evident from documents from the police file in the legal case against a group of liquidation suspects.

According to the police, Dominique K. was part of a group of criminals who worked for a mortal enemy of Piet Costa. K. participated in placing trackers on cars of people from Piet Costa's group who were to be murdered. This summer it became known that the judiciary is using him as a key witness against the people from his group.

Prison staff found shredded letters written by Piet Costa to a business associate in the birdcage in Piet Costa's cell, in which he reported on his contacts with neighbor K.
