I am not an expert on these 2 guys but i would go with Carlos Marcello because I always felt the Marcello Family was more structured and organized than the Trafficante Family.

Trafficante also operated in a area that has been considered "open" to other families while New Orleans/Louisiana was strictly a Marcello Family territory.
