Francesco “Don Ciccio” Milano, and his brother, Antonino “Tony” Milano, were two early powerhouses who ruled the City of Cleveland, Ohio.
Both died in their bed with their shoes off, and during the noteworthy underworld careers, both men ended up as wildly successful and wealthy leaders who served little, if any, time behind bars.

Johnny keys did take the shoes off..! LOL. Yes, he did. (or was allowed)....this is real classic shit! lol The only problem with Johnny Simone was that he DID die in the street. He was shot remember? Hardly dying with his shoes off and in the comfort of his own bed.

Another iconic, old-time leader, was Genovese Family capo Generoso “Toddo Del” Del Duca.
Born in Campania, Italy but based in Brooklyn, before joining the Mafia, Del Duca was a top Camorrista leader. In fact, he is said to have been one of the original "backers" and supporters of Chicago's infamous Al Capone.
Del Duca died comfortably, and mostly anonymously, in the safety of his own home...with his shoes off.
