Local drug market saturated Quebec organized crime exports its surpluses to Oceania

Several Australian media reported the arrest in Dubai of Angelo Pandeli, a member of a Sydney Hells Angels section. Pandeli had been in exile in Dubai for years. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Australian official reports link him to a cartel that imports $1.5 billion worth of drugs annually. For years, he has been one of the most wanted men by the Australian justice system.

Pandeli was expelled from Dubai on Thursday and sent back to Australia.

Melbourne's Herald Sun and News Corp newspapers report that just before his arrest, Pandeli had traveled to Mexico, where he reportedly met Martin Robert, one of the leaders of the Montreal Hells Angels.

The media said the two men discussed drug import cooperation and cited police sources that links to the Canadian Hells Angels could help Australian bikers continue their drug imports despite Pandeli's arrest.

However, our sources confirm that a Hells meeting is planned in the Cancún area in September for the anniversary of the local Hells Angels Nomads section and that Martin Robert could participate.

A world leader

A member of the Hells Angels section of Montreal, Martin Robert is considered by the police to be one of the most influential bikers in Quebec.

Robert was – or still is – a member of the Côte d'Azur section in France and is a Hells Angels World, i.e. he represents Canada within this international criminal organization and participates in meetings with representatives of other countries.

According to the police, Martin Robert is at the head of a group within the Hells Angels of Montreal that allegedly tried to seize the sports betting of the Montreal mafia in 2022.

According to our information, the conflict over the control of sports betting between these two factions is still latent, and Martin Robert has been spending a lot of time outside Quebec since then.
