It seems, the primary objective of the Hezbollah exploding pagers and now also walkie-talkies, was to sabotage Hezbollah's main communication Network and causing mayhem, panic and paranoia -- any collateral death, injury, other damage is not undesired

No doubt, it's been a phenomenal success

They are apparently throwing out Microwave ovens, not taking deliveries, not venturing out etc. because of the wide spread fear as intended
