Ahhh... Smithwick's.
One of my go-to beers, particularly if I'm enjoying it in an Irish pub. Too much Guinness can give me reflux (in my sleep), so Smithwick's is a good alternative.
A little thread drift here: The other day we enjoyed our annual St. Patrick's Day For All parade just around the corner from where we live, and we then repaired to one of our many local Irish pubs where they had delicious (and free!) corned beef and cabbage with potatoes so the Missus and I hoisted a few with some friends she met up with and went home definitely happy. (Yes, I know, it really should be boiled bacon but I'm not going to get into that argument!)
Since the wife is out of town on business, I cooked up some Irish Comfort Food for myself tonight - Dublin Coddle - and I'm now relaxing with some Jameson and ginger ale and listening to some Luke Kelly music. No more beer - finished it all earlier - so my apologies for the thread drift. I'm definitely in a good place.

"For me, there's only my wife..."
"Sure I cook with wine - sometimes I even add it to the food!"
"When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies?"
"It was a grass harp... And we listened."
"Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it? Every, every minute?"
"No. Saints and poets, maybe... they do some."

Nice, enjoy H.
I wish I had one…. Off beer for lent, do it every year.
I get dispensation for St. Patricks DAY and have a good line up of Irish Brew ready for the day, Guinness, Harp and Smitwicks. Smithwicks...the 1rst Irish brew I ever had..when I was 14 IN Ireland,,& it was my mother who snuck it 2 me @ night at the B&B across the road from the pub where all the grownup relatives were partying ...she told my old man she had go & check up on me & somehow smuggled it ...never forget that summer of '77. What a great story Hood, love it…keep em comin. Ahhh... Smithwick's.

Best beer is Samuel Adams Agreed. Their Cherry Wheat and Holiday White Ale are my favorites. I tried it, thanks to the recommendations here. Very good--having more tonight. My all-time favorite flavored ale, Pyramid Apricot, is no longer available.

Never had it i'll give it a try tonight. Produced by the well-known Royal Swinkels brewery. 8.6 Original intense blond beer 4-pack
8.6 original is an intense beer with 8.6% alcohol. The beer is unique as it is a bottom-fermented beer, lager, with an intense taste. 8.6 original is full in body and rich in mouthfeel.
Taste palette: full, lots of fruit and herbs Delicious with: hearty dry sausage, BBQ and blue cheese The best temperature: 6-8 degrees Celsius] https://static.ah.nl/dam/product/AH...tion=800x800_JPG_Q90&fileType=binary

Yup, Ive tried the Sun Miguel beer more than few times, especially in Barcelona, but if I have to chose between their beer and Sangria, Ill take the sangria LOL
Mythos is a Greek beer and its very similar to our local Macedonian beers, and I like it because its light and also has the taste of a real beer. Its very refreshing for the hot days at the beaches.

Anyone here familiar with Samuel Smith ales from England? Their organic chocolate stout is a knockout dessert ale. Their fruit ales are very good. @TB I personally never tried those, although there are few beer shops in my area which mostly have imported beer (almost all types) and so ill check it out, but Im not a big fan of dark beer, anymore. I see the Japs are also becoming huge players in the beer industry lately....at least around Europe and the Balkans.

I had a few heinekens, but now I switched to Bacardi hehe. I only drink rum when I'm free from work. Bacardi used to be also one of my favs, but right now my heart says "No" lol
