its amazing how widespread and powerful they were at one time. They were in New Orleans, Chicago, San Fran, NY, KC, St Louis, Boston, Philly, Detroit.

No doubt....they were basically coast to coast. About the only places they didn't position themselves at were out of the way territories like Montana, North Dakota, etc.
