The Palestinian Mujahidin Movement, also known as Palestinian Islamic Jihad, took responsibility for a deadly shooting in Jaffa, southern Tel Aviv.
The attack is an extension to resistance efforts in the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon, the group said in a statement. "The operation confirms the escalation of the resistance ... and that it has become a firm option for our people to restore their rights," the group said.
