Note:• This is a rough membership chart created based on information from the redacted 1993 lists, 1985 list and other sources – accuracy is probably limited • For this time period, the FBI were notably identifying Joseph Aiuppa as the consigliere and John Cerone as the underboss, despite both being in prison • In June 1993, John Monteleone was identified as the underboss, possibly linked to him managing family activities throughout the indictments • Some members might’ve been incarcerated, others incarcerated at different prisons than what is listed, different release dates etc. • There were possibly acting captains or replacements for those that were in prison/elderly

By 1993, Angie LaPietra was already rotting in prison. His crew was inherited by his brother Jimmy and after his death, it was up to Toots Caruso.
Again, by the end of 1993 Infelise didnt have the time or space to direct the Cicero crew obviously because he was going to jail. Spano Sr was his successor.
Al Pilotto was already in jail since 1982/83 and his crew was first inherited by Dom Palermo, and later by Al Tocco. After Toccos imprisonment, Palermo was bought back as leader of the Chi Heights crew.
I also see some other different stuff but above all, nice chart.

If it is your work, I just wanted to complement you. I like it. Yes I made the graphic, glad you like the design By 1993, Angie LaPietra was already rotting in prison. His crew was inherited by his brother Jimmy and after his death, it was up to Toots Caruso.

I also see some other different stuff but above all, nice chart. Yeah, the captains are just straight from the FBI lists so they would not be too accurate when it comes to the actual crews

Yes I made the graphic, glad you like the design -- JoeP, I especially like the format that encapsulates each subject with a bit of personal biographical info...I enjoy the "Valachi" styled format. It harkens back to the original 1963 FBI charts produced at the U.S. Senate Committee Hearings of that time.

JoePuzzles, I don't know if you've ever seen the extensive pictorial hierarchy chart I created for the old, "traditional" Chicago Outfit --- focusing on when the Outfit was at its peak --- but since I know you love your charts, if you haven't already done so, please visit our website and take a look. I think you'll really appreciate the design work and historical research involved in it. If you're interested, I'll see if Lisa can make that particular chart free for your viewing, ok?

Thats true. Also, this chart is only about made guys, right? Btw, I also think that guys like D'Arco and Giovenco were completely out of the game by that time, same as Roti and Marcy.

Yeah, those are also pretty cool but very time-consuming to put together. I tried to make a Valachi-style graphic for the Colorado family c. 1950 at one point. Not sure if I posted it here before JoePuzzles,

I've seen the San Jose chart from your website, I think that page was free at one point. I don't have a subscription, so I don't think I've seen your Chicago stuff before Yeah, the captains are just straight from the FBI lists so they would not be too accurate when it comes to the actual crews

I don't have a subscription, so I don't think I've seen your Chicago stuff before --- Joe, this is the first time that I'm seeing this Colorado chart you created. But, I can tell you one thing, I absolutely love it. THIS is great work. (and in the vein of the type of charts I love to create myself.) I especially like some of the little touches you included, such as the "map" depicting their territory, and the bio info included, as well as the "associates" chart inserted. As you know, 99.9999% of the time, you will never see a chart that also includes the list of associates. Its always just the "reputed" made guys that are listed. ---- It takes a lot more time and much deeper research to put together, but I think it makes all the difference in the world as to the quality and accuracy of the chart --- (I always make it a point to focus on, and include, the associates as well on any chart I create.) Bravo to you, Joe! For a job that I feel was very well done!

Oh, ok.
Btw why is Aiuppa placed as soldier and also I think we have info that Vena was allegedly made during the late 80s? Conflicting accounts as to Aiuppa's position from what I could find. Per the notes on the original post, he was identified as the consigliere by the FBI but at the same time they carried Jack Cerone as the underboss, so I decided just to list him as a soldier with the "fake" redaction to indicate a probable but unknown consigliere Not sure when Vena became a member, it is possible his name is on the one of the 1993 lists but is redacted

Joe, is it possible for you to email me at ButtonGuys which would allow me to increase the size some more?

Yeah unfortunately sometimes the ImgBB UI is buggy, I've emailed the image to the staff contact address on your website

Very interesting, really enjoyed the chart. One question, anyone know how many of these guys still around and their status? There are a few guys from this list still around - others here can give a better idea about all the details Rough overview: Frank Caruso - captain Albert Vena - admin? Michael Sarno - incarcerated Michael Spano - inactive Robert Bellavia - inactive? John Matassa - admin? Nicholas Guzzino - possibly deceased/inactive Rocco Lombardo - inactive James Marcello - IPL Michael Talarico - shelved? Michael Magnafichi - shelved Bruno Caruso - active? Salvatore Cataudella - admin I've been reviewing --- and enjoying --- your chart for Colorado.
There are definitely some names you listed (a few soldiers, but mostly crew associates) that I've never heard about before (kudos on that.)
Yeah Colorado is an interesting family, particularly during that sort of time period - a few old timers from the conflicts still around, Smaldones are clearly established, newer guys coming up etc.
