Regarding THE SUBSTANCE, it should have been shortened a little bit towards the end. Other than that, I agree, it's a masterpiece. A modern classic. I gave it a 9, dinging it a little for the end. I think it's one of Demi's best performances and would love to see her get an Oscar nom out of it. Also, I think this was Margaret Qualley's coming out party.

Like I said, I'm curious about SMILE 2 but also hesitant. Rewatched the original recently to refresh before the sequel and I hope it does well.

Oh, Margaret Qualley gave Demi a run for her money. When I saw Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, I knew she was going to be a major star some day. Her level of talent is actually quite extraordinary. I had a similar feeling about Emily Blunt after seeing Wind Chill. Did you see Maid? It wasn't my favorite Netflix production, but I kept watching because of Margaret Qualley's talent.

I did see Joker 2, and I kinda liked it. I was actually very sad to see the negative reaction to it, but I may be a bit biased when it comes to that one
