I agree. The point in the Andretti-Cadillac case is the drop in prize money. Under the current Concorde Agreement, newcomers must pay a registration fee of USD 200 million to compensate for this loss. Some teams would like to push this amount up to 600 million dollars. Although Cadillac's entry is still a question mark, it is certain that another American brand will enter F1 in 2026. Red Bull would start with Ford in that year, with Ford largely responsible for the electrical side of the 2026 power unit.
I think GM/Caddy would have to commit before the FiA ever gets interested As for your other post about McLaren, it’s great to see them competing again! Just wished the others would hurry up and catch Red Bull. This is getting boring now

Starting to get boring now. He could start dead last in that car and still win by 10 seconds Yes most boring season of the last years, powerhouses Ferrari and Mercedes very disappointing. As a Ferrari fan I don't get it why they don't get things done anymore. Even on a track where they are competitive and fast. (Pole Position)

Schumacher was my hero but I agree with Berger.
Berger: 'Schumacher and Hamilton are great, but Verstappen is still young' YESTERDAY, 19:21 LAST UPDATE: 20:02
Toby McLuskieEditor
Ten-time F1 winner Gerhard Berger talks to Austria's Kronen Zeitung about the big names in Formula 1. When it comes to his teammate at McLaren from 1990 to 1992, Ayrton Senna, the link to Max Verstappen is quickly made. Berger places these two drivers above Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton.
'Senna and Verstappen over Hamilton and Schumacher' And that is a remarkable comment, as 25-year-old Max Verstappen has only two F1 titles behind his name, compared to Hamilton and Schumacher's seven. Berger begins his argument: "Verstappen and Senna are unique in the sport. They are the two greatest drivers I have seen in the last 50 years."
Sky Sports reporter's iconic Ferrari GTO catches fire at Goodwood In passing, Berger provides advice to Verstappen's teammate Sergio Perez: "I would leave there as soon as possible so I don't have to have anything to do with Verstappen. Every day he will probably think: 'My teammate is driving me to pieces'."
When Berger is asked what he thinks of Schumacher and Hamilton, he says: "They are also exceptional drivers. Of course, you have to look at those statistics too. They are both fantastic, but Senna died early and Verstappen is still young."

I had no idea we had discussion for F1, anyway , very boring season, its insane how better is Red Bull/Max than everybody else. It would be really good season if there would be no Max. Others are really close to each other. Yes Max and the RB car are out of category. Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin and Mercedes are competitive. There are rumors Alonso will come to RB that would be great the 2 times world champion is still very fast and could beat Max lol..

] I am also Ferrari fan , like most of my friends , but Ferrari is so bad honestly , better than last year but still bad , last year they had good car but very bad strategic choices. I am hoping Ferrari and Mercedes can deliver next year and we get a good season. Big suprise Leclerc on pole position, the Ferrari's are fast. The race will be difficult but interesting.
