Drugs from Spain, 16 arrests throughout Italy

The investigation shed light on the existence of two distinct criminal groups active in drug trafficking, one of which, rooted in the province of Turin, had ongoing relationships with Spanish drug traffickers, from whom it obtained supplies. The narcotics entered our country through the border crossings of Ventimiglia and Piedmont.

The second criminal gang was composed mainly of people living in Liguria, many of whom, including its leader, were collaborators of justice or their relatives.
