Stefano Cirillo, the 21-year-old killed yesterday in San Pietro di Caridà, a town in the Reggio Calabria area bordering the Province of Vibo Valentia, was the victim of an ambush.
According to the reconstruction made by the Carabinieri, the young man was returning home on foot in the Corruttò district, in the Monsoreto hamlet of San Pietro di Caridà, when someone fired several gunshots at him, one of which hit him in the head, killing him instantly.
With that of Cirillo, in fact, there are three crimes committed in the last two years - in addition to an attempted murder - in the small town in the hinterland of Reggio or in the immediate vicinity and which saw all young people as victims. On April 8, a 24-year-old worker, Domenico Oppedisano, was murdered, killed by gunshots in the locality of Prateria while he was working.
On September 10, 2022, Alessandro Morfei, 30, was killed by hitmen with a shotgun while working the land on a tractor in the countryside of Dinami, a municipality in the Vibo Valentia area located a few kilometers from San Pietro di Caridà. Alessandro's father, Pietro Morfei, believed to be linked to the local 'ndrangheta family of the same name, was killed in front of a bar in Dinami on July 17, 1998.
Finally, on August 6, again in San Pietro di Caridà, another young man, Pietro Morfei, 20, was wounded in the neck by a shotgun loaded with pellets while he was in the car with his girlfriend, who only suffered minor abrasions.
Now, the Carabinieri investigators are investigating to determine whether the four episodes are linked to each other and whether there is a single matrix behind them that could lead to conflicts in the management of the woods in the area.

The major Oppedisano and Morfei families are related to each other.

'Ndrangheta, the father's "passion for politics" and boat trips. The repentant: "I came back with 15 thousand euros a day"
Antonio Accorinti speaks in the chamber about the interests in the “boat trips” sector. On the electoral rounds: «In case of defeat we would have been cut off»
Published: 11/16/2024 – 11:06

VIBO VALENTIA Thousands of euros a day with “boat trips”, “impositions” on the villages and the father’s “passion for local politics”. The collaborator of justice Antonio Accorinti , heard in recent weeks in the hearings of the Maestrale trial, returns to talk about the interests of the ‘ndrangheta in the excursion sector, also recounting those in the electoral competitions of the country. Infiltrations that had already emerged from the documents of the investigation, in which the interests of the Bonavita clan of Briatico were reconstructed behind a “boat trip” company along the Costa degli Dei. The La Rosa of Tropea also allegedly played a role in the management, imposing a “tribute” to be paid for each passenger. Accorinti returns to the topic again, recounting the management of the company he created and favored by the “relationships” with the villages. A business that would then also have helped in political competitions, guaranteeing a pool of votes in the electoral rounds.

Coast of the Gods ndrangheta
The "tribute" to La Rosa and the customers of the lido: the interests of the 'ndrangheta in the excursions on the Costa degli Dei
The boat for rent from a shipping company
The collaborator reiterates that he has followed the criminal affairs of the family since 2007 onwards, previously «my father kept me out». It is from that year onwards that Antonio Accorinti begins together with Nino Accorinti, his father and alleged boss with territorial power over Briatico, begins to manage the boats departing from the Costa degli Dei . The repentant, answering the questions of the lawyer Bagnato, reveals that «he took a boat on consignment, on rent» from a shipping company and, at the same time, «we wanted to buy a motor vessel from a person from Lipari». This last deal fell through due to the arrest of the father with the Costa Pulita operation, which occurred shortly after.

«I came back with 10-15 thousand euros a day»
"During my father's detention - Accorinti continues - with Filippo Niglia we contacted these people from Ischia and we decided to create this new company and avail ourselves of the collaboration of these gentlemen, who had motorboats at their disposal". An activity that would have guaranteed Accorinti large sums of money: "In one season, with a boat, we filled up every day, 340 people a day , at an average of 32 euros per person. In the morning, I returned from boarding with about those 10, 12, 15 thousand euros in cash, one morning, only with a boat". Thousands of euros a day with a single boat for a season that, as Accorinti explains, with good weather started from April 25 onwards.

The father's "passion for local politics"
Not only infiltration into the economy, but also explicit interests in the political world. Accorinti speaks of a real " passion for local politics " of his father. "My father, even when I wasn't born, was already interested in politics. He was a councilor, a councilor, even when I was very small, before I was born he had already presented himself as far as I know". When someone in the family didn't show up, one of the lists would still be supported. Also by virtue of the consensus obtained by guaranteeing jobs in the family village: "We hired all the cleaners, while we let the restaurant be managed and therefore whoever managed the restaurant had to consequently hire staff to be able to carry out the catering service and then we also took care of hiring the night watchmen, let's say, the custodians". About "40-50 units" who were hired and then asked for their vote. In the event of a defeat in the electoral round, Accorinti specifies, " we accepted the defeat and we were cut off ". ( Ma.Ru. )

THE CHARACTER
'Ndrangheta, Rosario Barbaro's sixty-year criminal empire. "He was the boss of all"
Recipient of a 6 million euro seizure. For decades he has imposed his hegemony. "He is the number one in Platì"
Published: 11/15/2024 – 6:57

REGGIO CALABRIA " He was the boss of everyone , he would stand in front in single file and everyone would follow like little dogs". This is how he was described by the collaborator of justice Rocco Varacalli. Already in 1965 he was identified as a "mafioso" by the police commissioner of Reggio Calabria, but the long criminal career of Rosario Barbaro, known as "u Rosi" or "Rosi da Massara", and head of the homonymous clan of Platì, began much earlier. And now the empire of the 84-year-old, patriarch of the family known as "i nigri", made up of buildings, land and commercial activities worth 6 million euros, the result of crimes and accumulated over the years, has been the object of a seizure at the end of the asset investigations carried out by the Anti-Mafia Investigation Directorate. The provision - which specifically concerns five companies including the entire company assets, including three individual firms operating in the agricultural sector, a private club and a restaurant business - and issued by the Preventive Measures section of the Court of Reggio Calabria on the proposal of the prosecutor Giuseppe Lombardo and the director of the DIA, reconstructs the long criminal career of Barbaro, who over the years has been the recipient of three decrees imposing the preventive measure of special surveillance, with an obligation to stay.

The criminal career
A criminal career spanning over fifty years. Not even 20 years old, in 1960, Barbaro was reported for kidnapping in competition, serious threats, aggravated battery and voluntary bodily harm. As emerges from the documents of the Platì Carabinieri Station and reported in the seizure decree. Injuries, violence and threats to a public official, illegal grazing, damage and mistreatment of animals. Over the years, Barbaro will be the recipient of precautionary measures for various crimes and will spend periods of time on the run. But the main criminal cases involving him originate in the anti-mafia operations “Saggezza”, “Marine”, “Mandamento Jonico” and “Montagna Alati” . “Investigations – we read in the provision – that have provided important evidence of Barbaro’s membership in the Platì gang, with a top-down role”. A long criminal journey culminating in the “Saggezza” proceedings, in which Barbato was sentenced to fifteen years in prison for the crime of mafia association, with the role of chief promoter. The investigators also indicated him for having given consent to the murder of Pasquale Marando , a crime for which Barbaro was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2018 for being held criminally responsible as the instigator. “His role in the affair – we read in the provision – consists in having instigated the Trimbolis to kill Marando Pasquale”, “Given his top position within the club, his authorization was in any case necessary for the material executor”.

"He was the boss of all"
There are several collaborators of justice who have made statements regarding Barbaro's top-level role within Platì. The convergent statements of collaborators of justice Rocco Varacalli and Rocco Marando were significant. Both collaborators of justice placed Barbaro at the top of the homonymous clan ( Varacalli: «I saw that when they went out he was the head of the table, he was the boss of everyone, he would stand in front in single file and everyone would follow like little dogs» ).
While Rocco Marando affirmed that in the territory of Platì three 'ndrine were operating (the Castanis, the Pillaris and the Nigris), all of which were headed by the Barbaro family of which “Rosi da Massara” is a top element: «He is the number one in Platì, he is in charge».

In my opinion it would be the Piromalli clan .

-They have been powerful for decades
-they control the port of Gioia Tauro
-they fought several wars and always were victorious
- they had a set back in arrests in 2010 and had to go undergound
- they formed several alliances with other powerful clans over the years
- people in know still say they cast a shadow of the Gioia Tauro region.

This is what I think others may differ in their opinions.

I think the DeStefano rival them in Reggio. Plus there was the split with their military arm, the Mole clan.

My pick is the Barbaro clan. Ever since that marriage between a Barbaro and a Pelle. Plati and San Luca, the " Mind and the Heart"....

But you have the Grande- Aracri Cantazaro people, the most confusing are the Mancusos of Vibo.... they seem to have the entire province under their thumb, yet are almost always excluded from list of the most powerful Ndranghetisti..... it's very strange.....

Some people favor the Morabito clan. They were I believe, one of the original 6 Ndrangheta clans in business with the Caruana- Cuntreras. Very powerful in Eastern Sicily, Messina actually. The Alvaros have to be mentioned i think..... the Sergis too.....

Yes, I've heard of the Piromalli Clan. I'm not familiar with the particulars of their 'ndrina, but I know the heads were the Piromalli brothers.

The Mole clan was the military arm of the Piromalli clan, the military duties were then replaced by the Alvaro of Sinopoli and the Mancuso of Limbadi .

Pesce-Bellocco is also among the most powerful Reggio clans.

While in jail, Salvatore Pesce used Radio Olimpia, a local radio station that operated an unlicensed transmitter from premises in Pesce’s fiefdom Rosarno, to send coded messages. Police listening in on a conversation between Pesce and his wife heard him talking about record requests. Pesce told his wife, after scribbling down the name of a tune: "If it's positive you send me [this] song on the radio tonight. If it's negative you send me another."[10]

THE BLITZ
'Ndrangheta in Rome, fuel fraud: a blow to the Mazzaferro clan – NAMES AND VIDEOS
Guardia di Finanza operation. 7 ended up in prison, 12 under house arrest. The Marina di Gioiosa Jonica gang in the crosshairs
Published: 11/18/2024 – 7:40

ROME On behalf of the Public Prosecutor's Office, financial police from the Rome provincial command, with the support of the Central Service for the Investigation of Organized Crime (Scico), are executing a precautionary custody order against 25 people (of whom 7 are in prison, 12 under house arrest and 6 with the obligation to report to the judicial police) investigated, among other things, for issuing invoices for non-existent transactions, concealment and destruction of accounting documents, money laundering, self-laundering, undue receipt of public funds and fraudulent transfer of assets.

The investigations
All the alleged criminal hypotheses were allegedly committed to facilitate the 'ndrangheta-style association promoted by the Mazzaferro clan of Marina di Gioiosa Jonica. At the same time, the preventive seizure of the assets constituting the profit of the crimes, quantified at approximately 7 million euros, was ordered against 5 joint-stock companies and 17 individuals. The provision, issued by the investigating judge of the local Court, constitutes the epilogue of the investigations coordinated by the DDA and carried out by the specialists of the Economic-Financial Police Unit (Gico), in which serious evidence of guilt was collected against the suspects and, in particular, against some entrepreneurs active in the capital in the marketing of fuel for motor vehicles. In particular, the clan allegedly operated through a number of companies entrusted to front men, with the aim of carrying out the "carousel frauds" on VAT. The proceeds from tax evasion were then reinvested in the same economic sector, through the acquisition of additional distributors and commercial fuel depots. (redazione@corrierecal.it)

'Ndrangheta, the bunker in the attic and a Kalashnikov next to it. «I heard the police and I hid»
The repentant Antonio Accorinti tells of the "brilliant idea" of building a hideout in his house to escape the blitz of the police

'Ndrangheta, the bunker in the attic and a Kalashnikov next to it. «I heard the police and I hid»
VIBO VALENTIA He had managed to escape the blitz of the police, barricading himself in the bunker of his home. Next to him a Kalashnikov and a small arsenal of pistols and rifles. The operation, called Olimpo and started at dawn on January 26, 2023, would have led to the arrest of 56 people, many of whom were leading members of the Vibo 'ndrangheta operating along the Costa degli Dei. Among them was Antonio Accorinti , who initially managed to "escape" the blitz of the agents by using a secret room built specifically in his apartment. The same one who, shortly thereafter, after being captured by the police, would become one of the most important collaborators of justice in the Province.

The weapons and the “gift” to Pantaleone Mancuso
Heard in court during the Maestrale Carthago trial , in the hearings of the past few weeks, the informer recounts the arsenal at the disposal of the Mellusos and his “methods” to avoid capture during operations by the police. A ploy that, if it “worked” the first time, did not fool the agents during the second search of the house, when Accorinti was found right inside the bunker together with various weapons: a Kalashnikov, ammunition of various calibers, pistols and a rifle . In particular, the Kalashnikov, the informer reports, had been given to him by a person “who had a construction company in Zambrone. Before Costa Pulita's arrest we shared some weapons with him”. Weapons that “we stole in that robbery in Parghelia from a house, after the rifle I gave it to them and the pistol I gave to Pantaleone Mancuso ”.

The «brilliant idea» of the bunker
Precisely because of these relationships with the owner of the company, Accorinti allegedly had the "brilliant idea" of building a bunker during the renovation of his house. "While he was doing the work, when they came to supervise it and take measurements, we had the brilliant idea, given the position of this attic, that we could make a bunker . We were renovating the bathroom, we worked hard and studied how it could be done," says the informer. It is thanks to this "hiding place" that he manages to avoid the first arrest. "In January, during Operation Olimpo, I was under house arrest. I heard the police arriving, I hid inside the bunker, I managed to close it well and I was not found despite the long search ." The investigative instinct of the agents hit the mark during the second search, with the informer captured with a real arsenal next to him. Not kept for war purposes in case of arrest, but to "keep" them in a safe place. «When this bunker was built, he (the owner of the company, ed.) told me: let's put that thing there, at least it'll be safe here and won't get ruined». the investigation
'Ndrangheta, tons of cocaine between Calabria and Lombardy: "skilled brokers" with a passion for Mexican cartels
The two Calabrians Trimboli and Gullì, who ended up in prison, are considered partners in "a powerful group" capable of distributing enormous loads. And encrypted phones were not enough
Published: 11/19/2024 – 11:39

LAMEZIA TERME “Ghost” and “ Malverde ”, and also “ rafael caro ” and “ Santa Cruz ”. They are not characters from a new TV series, but the nicknames chosen on the encrypted chats used to organize international drug trafficking, discovered and decrypted by the investigators of the Milan Anti-Mafia District and whose contents have outlined the new investigation against drug trafficking between Calabria and Lombardy. In total, 20 people have been arrested, 15 of whom have ended up in prison. And among them are the users of these nicknames: Antonio Rosario Trimboli (class of '82) from Locri and Antonio Gullì (class of '85) from Reggio Calabria , top members of the group that, according to the investigators, was involved in drug trafficking between Calabria and Lombardy. The investigators have therefore, through the decryption of the SkyEcc devices, managed to reconstruct a long series of episodes dating back over the years and which have contributed to reconstructing the accusatory framework. Starting from Trimboli and Gullì.

«A skilled broker»
A past characterized by a long series of crimes, ranging from theft to damage, personal injury and drugs but, above all, a deep connection with contexts of 'ndrangheta and, in particular, with the Barbaro branch of Platì. This is the profile that the investigators of the Anti-Mafia District of Milan have outlined of Antonio Rosario Trimboli. Not just any name in the Lombard criminal panorama and in the world of drug trafficking.
As reconstructed during the investigative phase and reported by the investigating judge in the order, Trimboli is married to the daughter of "Frank three fingers" Francesco Perre (class '56). According to the investigators, therefore, Trimboli would be "a skilled broker in the field of international drug trafficking", being able to boast "acquaintances with the major suppliers in South America and Spain". Trimboli, moreover, would be connected with leading exponents of all the 'ndrine of the Calabrian Jonica in the territories of Milan and Pavia. In fact, with these people he "had relations relating to the marketing of narcotics".

The restaurant and contacts with Flachi
Trimboli's name had already come up during another important "blow" inflicted on drug trafficking and which led to the arrest of Davide Flachi. Trimboli had also emerged as an element of connection with the criminal group headed by Andrea Rozzo : the two, as the investigating judge further reports, "appear to have undertaken a path of "mutual assistance" for the supply of cocaine". The investigators take their cue from an exchange of messages. "Ok bro be careful because now how to get rid of it I'll tell bro the move to get back to work .... You'll see that we'll break everything again" Trimboli wrote to Rozzo in 2021. During a subsequent exchange the two, "aware of the roles they covered within the criminal groups - the investigating judge notes - had shared the concern of being the object of attention from the judicial authorities. It is February 23, 2021 and Rozzo writes to Trimboli: «They made a raid in Milan… It is all of Italy». «I swear I had a bad dream… They tell me karst buccinasco they arrested» , the Calabrian replies.
All conversations held thanks to the encrypted SkyEcc devices with two associated nicknames. From the analysis of the cell phones, the investigators manage to steal a series of information. For example, “Malverde” – or Trimboli – says he spent a short stay at the Hotel Savoia in Cortina D'Ampezzo, as later ascertained by the investigations of the Guardia di Finanza, or the exchange of messages with the user attributable to Davide Flachi, in which the latter asked for information about the sale of the restaurant, apparently, managed by “Malverde”. The reference, as further ascertained by the investigators, was the restaurant called “I MALACARNE SRLS” in Cologno Monzese, among whose members there was also Islam Hagag, already arrested in the “Doppia Curva” blitz last September, in addition to Antonio Gullì and Rosario Calabria, both arrested in this new blitz by the GdF.

«A powerful group»
Another Calabrian who ended up in prison and was central to the blitz of the DDA of the Lombardy capital is Antonio Gullì from Reggio. He is a subject burdened by criminal records for private violence and other crimes against the person, receiving stolen goods, illegal possession of weapons including clandestine ones, drug-related crimes and violence and threats to a public official. His criminal profile is not at the same level as his partner Trimboli but, as the investigating judge reports, «he is still a subject who boasts notable influence in the global drug trafficking network». And it is no coincidence that, as a nickname, he had chosen “rafael caro” or the diminutive of Rafael Caro Quintero , founder of the Mexican cartel of Guadalajara and “Santa Cruz”, a nickname that the Judicial Police considers evocative of Josè Santa-Cruz Londono alias “Chepe” , one of the leaders of the Cali cartel. According to the investigators, furthermore, Gullì «was well connected to the 'ndrine of all Calabria, with which he was in contact through their respective contacts, interested in a careful management of the cocaine trade», the investigating judge further notes in the order.
The two partners, Trimboli and Gullì, according to the investigators «had created a very powerful group, capable of distributing tons of drugs on the territory of the State and on the Milanese market in particular» , also capable of taking part «in the purchase in consortium form with the exponents of other Calabrian families», as would also have emerged from the contacts with two prominent elements such as Santo Crea and Davide Flachi «for the purchase of cocaine and hashish». THE PROFILE
The “privileged” relationships with the 'ndrangheta of Platì, football and drug trafficking: the affairs of the head of the Milan Sud
New troubles for Luca Lucci. From Trimboli to Calabria until the confirmation in the place seized from the Barbaro
Published: 11/19/2024 – 18:21

MILAN There are names that come back, without even going too far to quote a famous song, a sign of a broad and shared project that, in recent years, has allowed Milan and the hinterland of the Lombard capital to be flooded with rivers of cocaine and hashish . The latest investigation by the Milan Anti-Mafia District, which this time culminated in 20 arrests , has once again highlighted the name of the historic ultra leader of the Milan Curva Sud at San Siro, Luca Lucci, who has been hit by yet another precautionary custody order in prison. In fact, Lucci has already been arrested a few weeks ago as part of the “Doppia Curva” investigation – still conducted by the Milan DDA – against the businesses set up inside and in the shadow of the Meazza stadium, with an increasingly cumbersome and invasive presence of the Calabrian ‘ndrangheta clans.

Lucci's drug trafficking
Relationships that, according to the prosecution and as underlined by the investigating judge, Luca Lucci himself would never have disdained, quite the opposite. Because, if it is true that, from the latest investigation, it emerged that Luca Lucci «had essentially taken charge, mainly, of the management of hashish supplies from Spain, veering at a certain point also towards cocaine trafficking», it is also true that in the “Doppia Curva” investigation very close contacts had emerged between the “Joker” of the Sud and subjects close to or linked to the families of the 'ndrangheta of Platì. Lucci, for example, chose as godfather for the Confirmation of his son Rosario Calabria (class of '88), born in Milan but cousin of Antonio Rosario Trimboli – the mothers are sisters – burdened by previous police records for fraud, impersonation, extortion, resisting and insulting a public official, drug-related crimes, and personal injury. Calabria ended up in prison just like Trimboli, of whom he would be, according to investigators, a sort of "trustee" as demonstrated by the management of the restaurant "I MALACARNE" (now closed).

Confirmation at the seized restaurant in Platì
Luca Lucci's "contacts" so to speak with members of the 'ndrangheta of Platì - in addition to having already been co-defendants in a proceeding related to drug dealing - are also revealed in an event. It is the Confirmation of Antonio Rosario Trimboli's daughter, celebrated on July 22nd of last year in the restaurant "Parco dell'Aspromonte". This latter restaurant, moreover, is even included among the assets ended up in the seizure order for a value of over 6 million euros against the old boss of Platì, Rosario Barbaro "Massara". As reconstructed by the Dda, Rosario Calabria would have been invited with his partner, who would have stayed in Calabria from July 21st to 23rd 2023 like his parents. Antonio Rosario Trimboli, who came to Calabria from Cologno Monzese already in mid-July, would have also taken part in the event.

south curve milan lucci joker
Lucci the "Beast"
Lucci's name is so powerful that he remained firmly at the helm of Milan's Curva Sud even after his arrest in 2018 and after the further judicial experience of 2021, resisting every attempt to be deposed. His - according to the prosecution - is a "personality inclined to violence and disrespectful of any prescription of authority" . He too, like the members of the group, was equipped with cryptophones with the SkyEcc system and the nickname chosen "Belva" says it all. As reported by the investigating judge in the order, the nickname "belvaitalia" had been at the center of a previous police operation carried out by the Milan Police Headquarters and which had hit an organization dedicated to international drug trafficking. Luca Lucci himself was at the top of the group, able to maintain contact with suppliers based abroad.

96 kg of marijuana
"But I'll sell it all without you having to bother me so much, I sold it for 4200... So don't piss me off, I'll take care of you, I already told you... So leave me alone". And again: "Bro, if I give you 30 to 3800, you understand that I'll sell it for 4200, I'll give you a fucking 10 and I'll even make a profit... You seem retarded... Let me do it...". Regarding drug trafficking, the analysis of the chats exchanged via SkyEcc devices had allowed us to reveal that, in July 2020, "Lucci had managed to perfect a movement of marijuana for 96 kilograms". Part of the load, namely 24 kilograms, had been sold to Rosario Calabria "for resale at the price imposed by Lucci himself", the investigating judge notes. And, in fact, on the following July 31, 2020, Rosario Calabria "had delivered the balance of the supply received into Lucci's hands", equal to 91,200 euros. During the chat of July 30, 2020, as reconstructed by the investigators, Calabria "had informed the partner that he had the cash available to pay for the supply of marijuana". And so the two had agreed: the cash would be delivered into Lucci's hands at his home, for this reason the following morning, Calabria had sent Lucci the photo depicting the banknotes, also highlighting the way in which the money was divided, delivered by a courier. Lucci, shortly after, sent the photo with the cash to the partner, a sign of the successful delivery. ( g.curcio@corrierecal.it )

the investigation
'Ndrangheta in Rome, the frauds of the entrepreneur in business with the Mazzaferros and the Alvaros
Massimo Nicoletti, son of the "treasurer" of the Magliana gang, was also involved in a real estate transaction
Published: 20/11/2024 – 6:29

ROME A complex business structure on which the 'ndrangheta Mazzaferro clan could count on the Roman territory to operate all the gears of the system set up to launder dirty money through financial operations, using national and foreign banking relationships, attributable to compliant companies, with the aim of financially strengthening the gang. As demonstrated by the investigation of the Rome DDA that led to the arrest of 25 people, the Marina di Gioiosa Ionica clan, with "premises" and branches in Italy and around the world , could count on front men and supporters recruited from compliant professionals and entrepreneurs with experience in the commercial sectors preparatory to the start-up, management, direction and control operations of the companies to be used in the marketing of petroleum products. The clan, therefore, according to what has emerged, would have operated through a plurality of companies entrusted to front men, instrumental in the realisation of frauds: "companies "serving" the marketing of petroleum products with the consequent tax frauds ".

The Roman entrepreneur in business with the clans
Among them stands out the figure of the Roman entrepreneur Alessandro Toppi : it will be in fact the relationships - documented through wiretaps - with the latter that will reveal the dense web of relationships in the oil sector with Vincenzo and Salvatore Mazzaferro and Nicolò Sfara , and trigger the investigation. But not only that. In fact, according to what emerged from the investigations, the entrepreneur has also woven relationships with other criminal groups active in the capital, such as the 'ndrangheta Alvaro clan of Sinopoli, Reggio Calabria, and the Roman family referable to the deceased Enrico Nicoletti, the "treasurer" of the Banda della Magliana.

Relations with the Mazzaferro gang
Toppi, as ascertained by the Guardia di Finanza, is the holder - as stated in the order - "of positions and/or shares in various corporate groups that operate in various commercial sectors. His relationships with the Mazzaferro family date back to at least 2017 in these areas ". According to what emerged from the investigations, the company formally owned by the entrepreneur Toppi with his wife is in fact attributable to Sfara and consequently to the Mazzaferro group, at least until March 20, 2019, when Toppi sold the entire share capital to a person close to a Camorra clan, leaving Sfara unaware of the sale, who, as soon as he learned of the operation, "evidently experienced as a real affront" - writes the investigating judge, showed himself determined to resolve the issue by resorting to the mafia logic of violence, leading the entrepreneur to flee to Albania.

Contacts with Vincenzo Alvaro and the son of the “treasurer” of the Magliana Gang
Relationships with the Mazzaferros but not only. The investigations also revealed a series of contacts, by telephone, as well as some in person, held by Toppi with the Calabrian criminal Vincenzo Alvaro (class of '64) , arrested in May 2022 as part of the "Propaggine" investigation by the Rome DDA, the investigation that allowed the reconstruction of the criminal dynamics around the gang active in Sinopoli, Cosoleto and San Procopio and the first "locale" active in Rome, in Anzio and Nettuno, which operated in the capital after having obtained the official investiture from the parent company in Calabria.
"These contacts - the investigating judge writes in the order - were aimed not only at starting new business relationships with Alvaro - in particular, reference is made to the latter's entry into a company through the use of front men - but also at sharing an important real estate transaction, in which Massimo Nicoletti was also involved", son of the "treasurer" of the Banda della Magliana . During a conversation, in particular, it emerges that Toppi "was setting up a new company with Alvaro, making use, in this sense, of front men to whom he would attribute ownership of the same". I don't know much about the Trimboli family, I believe they live also in the Argentina area.
Most famous member was Robert Trimbole (Trimboli).

Bruno Robert Trimbole (/tr?mbo?li/) (19 March 1931 – 12 May 1987) was an Australian businessman, drug baron and organized crime figure whose alleged involvement in drug trafficking in Griffith, New South Wales, resulted in a royal commission, a coroner's inquest and an international chase by the Australian government seeking his apprehension after he fled to Europe.
