Among those arrested is Biagio Micillo, 68 years old, already detained, considered the clan's contact with responsibility for strategic direction. Domenico Chiariello , known as "Mimmuccio", 41 years old, nephew of Micillo, was also arrested. Giulio Maisto and Antonio Miraglia are also in jail. Then there are another 14 suspects at large for whom the precautionary measure was rejected due to lack of serious evidence of guilt or expiry of the terms

The investigation covers the period from 2020 to October 2022 and concerns the extortions carried out by the gang on construction sites in the area. The investigation is the one that has already led to the arrest of Michele di Nardo and Angelo Pirozzi.

Th boss Micillo was also arrested 11 years ago.
