Camorra, assets worth 60 million seized in Caserta
The investigations concern an entrepreneur believed to be close to the Belforte clan and the Casalesi clan–Zagaria Group
Assets worth 60 million euros were confiscated from a Caserta businessman believed to be close to the Belforte clan and the Casalesi orbit. The measure, carried out by the Carabinieri del Ros and the Guardia di Finanza, concerned company shares, business assets, real estate and financial resources and was issued by the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere after investigations by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate.
The entrepreneur, close to the Belfortes but also to the Zagaria group, is said to have increased his assets illegally, resulting in him being the head of 8 companies in the province of Caserta active in the real estate, construction, large-scale distribution and wholesale trade of food products sectors, as well as a supermarket chain with 21 stores in the Caserta area.
