Dutch and Colombians arrested in Frisian cocaine laundry
The police dismantled a cocaine laundry in a warehouse in Aldwâld, Friesland, on Tuesday morning. At the same time as the drug lab was dismantled, raids were conducted on several warehouses and homes throughout the country and also in Belgium. A total of eight suspects were arrested.

The police had been on the trail of the suspects since October. They are believed to be part of a group of drug criminals from the Netherlands and South America, who are involved in the large-scale production of cocaine and the trade in ketamine and BMK, a substance used to produce speed and methamphetamine.

Colombians
A warehouse in Aldwâld had been set up to wash the cocaine. The warehouse was full of jerry cans with chemicals when the Special Intervention Service (DSI) raided it on Tuesday morning. A total of 1.7 kilos of washed cocaine and 360 kilos of other material in which the cocaine was still processed were found. Six suspects, including three Dutch and three Colombians, were arrested red-handed in the warehouse.

After the raid on the lab, the National Dismantling Facility (LFO) had to stop the chemical process with the utmost care and remove the material.
