BREAKING NEWS: Buffalo Mafia Boss’s Nephew Convicted In Federal Drug, Sex Trafficking Case
December 28, 2024 — A federal jury in Western New York found self-professed Buffalo mob figure and strip-club owner Peter Gerace, Jr. guilty on 8 of 9 racketeering trial culminating a two-month trial and convicting the nephew of the region’s reputed mafia don of drug and sex trafficking offenses.
The 56-year old Gerace, Jr.’s dad is reputed Magaddino crime family soldier Peter (Big Pete) Gerace, Sr. and his uncle is the alleged boss of the Buffalo mob, Joseph (Joe Pizza) Todaro, Jr. His illegal activities were being operated out of Pharoah’s Gentlemen’s Club in the suburb of Cheektowaga with the help of disgraced DEA agent Joe Bongiovanni, who was found guilty of drug, conspiracy and fraud counts at his second trial back in October. They will both be sentenced in the summer. Todaro, Jr.’s other nephew and Gerace, Jr.’s baby brother, Anthony, is currently finishing up a federal prison term for a drug pinch and is expected to be released to a halfway house soon.
“Joe Pizza” Todaro, Jr., 78, is not implicated in any of Gerace, Jr.’s illicit affairs and denies any membership or leadership role in the mafia. “Big Pete” Gerace, Sr. is married to Joe Pizza’s sister and sold the strip club to Gerace, Jr. in 2012. Gerace, Jr.’s former personal assistant Crystal Quinn testified in front of a grand jury that Gerace, Jr. often bragged of being a “made man” in the Buffalo mob, but never made it to trial because she was killed in an intentional Fentanyl overdose in August 2023. Last January, Gerace, Jr. and six others were indicted for obstruction of justice in relation to the 37-year old’s murder.
