as to why the club stayed in u.s. maybe they thought as bigger clubs went international like outlaws, HA, bandidos etc they could move into abandoned and/or neglected rackets and territory.
That makes sense. As you said, maybe The Pagans believed that would allow them to grab a larger piece of the U.S. pie.
