US may send Israel arms shipment frozen by Biden administration
The Trump administration is considering sending Israel 24,000 assault rifles after former Secretary of State Antony Blinken ordered to freeze the arms shipment, The New York Times reported a US official saying.
The $34 million order was held up due to concerns by Democratic lawmakers that the weapons could be used unjustifiably, 1. against Palestinians in the West Bank or 2. to support settlers involved in acts of violence against Palestinians
