Egyptian source: Some of the issues threatening Gaza cease-fire have been resolved
Several Egyptian sources told the Qatari newspaper Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed that Hamas and the head of Egyptian intelligence had resolved some of the issues threatening to delay implementation of the next phase of the hostage deal.
The paper also reported that Egypt is continuing its efforts to obtain permission from Israel to bring prefabricated housing and tents into the Gaza Strip.
The report added that if Israel approves entry of the caravans by Thursday, it could pave the way for the completion of the next phase of the cease-fire deal over the coming weekend.
