Rubio added that the administration was open to other plans, but that "any plan that leaves Hamas there is going to be a problem."
Rubio added that, according to U.S. President Donald Trump's plan for Gaza Strip, is "the only plan," adding that if Arab states have "got a better plan, now's the time to present it."
Some two-thirds of the Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives urged President Donald Trump to retract his plan for the U.S. to take over the Gaza Strip, calling it "illegal and immoral."
