Fugitive Dutch drug boss Marco Ebben has been murdered in Mexico. This is reported by media in that country. He was reportedly shot dead by two men on Thursday morning in the town of Atizapán, near Mexico City. Ebben had previously been shot and declared dead, but at the time there was a suspicion that he could escape threats in this way.

This time, however, photos are circulating showing Ebben lying on the ground in a parking garage in Meggico in a pool of blood with a wound to his head. Also, reliable media in Mexico write that an ID was found with his body, which, oddly enough, is said to be from the DEA, the American anti-drug organization Drug Enforcement Administration. That thing is completely fake of course, also because the name on it, under a passport photo of Ebben, is not his real name. Apparently, Ebben went through life in Mexico as Velazquez Rivas Jesus Antonio from El Paso, Texas. He was said to be a 'Special Agent In Charge'.

The murder is said to have been committed by two men on Jorge Jiménez Cantú Avenue in the town of Hacienda de Valle Escondido, near Mexico City. The body was found in a parking garage at a shopping center there. According to residents, a shooting took place in the neighborhood. Local media write that the residents of the complex where Ebben's body was found have been asked to stay indoors. For their own safety and so that the police and even the navy have all the time and space to find the hitmen. He is said to have been killed with fifteen bullets.

This time, it seems that Ebben is really dead. Not least because the murder has now been confirmed by the Mexican authorities. The Dutchman is said to have had close ties with the Mexican top criminal Ismael Zambada García, better known as El Mayo, the co-founder and former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel. Ebben had been on the run from the Dutch authorities for years. He still had to serve a long prison sentence here. He is said to have entered Mexico on a Russian passport.
