Just got done watching MONSTERS: THE LYLE AND ERICK MENENDEZ STORY and I liked it so much more than DAHMER. I know DAHMER got a lot of love (much of which I never understood) but this was a vastly better season IMO.

THE PEGUIN and CORBA KAI Season 6 Part 2, check them out! Well worth the watches. Gonna start watching DUNE: PROPHESY tomorrow. Hopefully it's as good as the movies.
I've yet to check out Cobra Kai's Part 1 of S6. I wanted to wait until at least Part 2 was ready and then binge it. Gonna check it out tomorrow
Enjoy. Sucks we've gotta wait so long for Part 3.
Can’t believe I forgot to mention it, but both parts of this season were amazing! The clever turns throughout keep reinforcing why Cobra Kai is so special. Plus, the comedic element deserves more appreciation if you ask me. Johnny’s one-liners are just pure gold lol. Now I’m counting the days until Part 3
But you had to play it cool, had to do it your way Had to be a fool, had to throw it all away

Absolutely loved part 3 of Cobra Kai season 6! I hate that it’s over, but wow, does that show make me fall in love with life. Sure, the writing can be a bit goofy at times, but it never fails to entertain. If anything, Cobra Kai is the ultimate feel-good show. Seeing Daniel rocking the black was such a bad ass moment for the franchise. And damn, Tory’s kick was one for the fucking ages

I agree, a satisfying end for me except for Silver & Kreese. Otherwise, extremely well done and I'm glad the show bowed out before overstaying its welcome.

They deserved better IMO. Glad Johnny got his redemption.
They did deserve better, but at least they got to die together lol. Yeah, Johnny's redemption was beautiful. That rule about the senseis having to fight to break a tie was super silly, but I didn't mind it one bit. It just works. When a show’s "imperfections" only add to its charm, you know you’re witnessing something magical. Fuck I'll miss this show lol

COBRA KAI IMO is one of the few (if only) properties to take an existing property that's decades old, add value to continuing the story, while simultaneously satisfying the original audience and introducing it to a new one in the same process. It will most definitely be missed

It is certainly not the only show to achieve that feat. Star Trek: Picard, The Mandalorian, and Andor are prime examples of revitalizing existing franchises, seamlessly continuing their narratives while successfully captivating both legacy fans and new audiences.

Never seen Star Trek and I wouldn't put THE MANDALORIAN in the same category. It's a brand new storyline within the Star Wars universe. COBRA KAI is a follow up to the Karate Kid trilogy from the 1980's. Apples and oranges IMO.

Star Trek: Picard is a direct continuation of Star Trek: The Next Generation. As for The Mandalorian, it’s still set within the realm of Star Wars, even reintroducing familiar characters like Boba Fett and Luke Skywalker. I’d say that qualifies as a continuation of the story, even though it’s a new one within the established framework. That’s not exactly apples and oranges lol

Yes, you're reintroducing established characters like Boba and Luke but they're not the focus of the show like Johnny, Kreese, Daniel, and Silver are in COBRA KAI. A hiccup of an appearance is again, not the same thing as CK who are continuously involved in the show. But, just another thing we can agree to disagree on.
