It would be successful because its a great TV show. As successful? Probably not because there have been dozens of Anti-hero type tv shows released in the last 20 years. Wire, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Boardwalk Empire, etc. Sopranos was a revolutionary concept when it came out because there had never been anything else like it.

I think that it would be just as successful,if not more.
Excellent script writing,spot-on casting,great story and character arcs,superb directing,and so much more. These attributes transcend the chronology of the show.
IMHO,the one thing I will submit as an "X" factor, is that,if was a Netflix production,it would shatter the all-time viewership record for a series.
Just my two cents.
