'Ndrangheta, 22 arrests in Calabria, Tuscany and Lombardy

An operation is underway by the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Catanzaro to execute a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Calabrian capital, at the request of the DDA, against 22 people accused of being linked to the 'ndrangheta, Gaglianesi clan. The arrests are being carried out in Catanzaro and in the provinces of Monza Brianza and Arezzo. In particular, the people involved in the operation are charged with mafia-type criminal association and simple criminal association, in addition to a series of crimes against the person and property, some of which are aggravated by mafia methods. For 12 of the suspects, the investigating judge has ordered precautionary custody in prison and for the other ten, house arrest with an electronic bracelet.
