Great choke by Makhachev, but Poirier what a class act.
Trump also enjoyed himself.

Rewatch the full fight between Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez ahead of McGregor's return to the Octagon to face Michael Chandler in the main event at UFC 303 on June 29th.

I thought Dustin was gonna pull it out of his ass when he cut Islam with that short elbow. He opened him up big time with that one. Islam stood a lot more than I thought he would

And holy shit, that judge that scored it 49-46 for Paulo Costa should be shot on sight. Talk about a horrible scorecard!!!

I didn't like the London card at all. Snooze fest. Conor finally admits he's pretty much done thank God. Tired of hearing his bullshit talk about his "bionic leg" lol

Reinier de Ridder has already made quite an impression in the UFC. He came over as a former champion from ONE Championship and won both his first two UFC fights with a submission. His fighting style appeals to fans, and he shows that he has not come to build up slowly. Tonight he fights against Bo Nickal whose pockets are already well filled by the UFC.

But financially he is not yet at the level of the real top fighters. In his UFC debut against Gerald Meerschaert he received about 12,000 dollars. In his second fight, against Kevin Holland, he earned 18,000 dollars to show up.

His total net worth is now estimated at around $700,000. That amount does not only come from his fights. During his ONE period he sometimes received $50,000 to $100,000 per fight. In addition, he earns well from sponsorship contracts with brands in sportswear, nutrition and lifestyle. He also has his own physiotherapy practice in the Netherlands.

Bo Nickal remains undefeated and makes big gains outside the cage
Bo Nickal , born in Colorado, is currently one of the most talked about fighters in the middleweight division. He remains undefeated in his MMA career, with multiple submissions and knockouts to his name.

And that success is reflected in his bank account. Nickal's estimated net worth is around $4 million. His fight against Paul Craig at UFC 309 alone earned him $30,000 in base salary and another $30,000 in bonuses. His upcoming fight against Knight is said to earn him $38,000.

Bo has also made smart moves outside the cage. He is sponsored by major brands such as 1stPhorm, Betr and ScrapLife. And he is part owner of a gym in Pennsylvania, which not only brings in money but also strengthens his own brand.

Bo Nickal is clearly richer but De Ridder could overtake him
On paper it's simple: Bo Nickal is currently about 3.3 million dollars richer than Reinier de Ridder . That is mainly because UFC generally pays better than organizations such as ONE or UAE Warriors.

But money isn’t everything. De Ridder has the skills and the looks to make up ground quickly. And with their fight at UFC Des Moines coming up, it’s all about fighting for the time being.

De Ridder to put an end to 'American promise' Nickal
By Ilias Eldawoudy
Updated 01/05/2025 at 11:09 GMT+2

On Saturday, the only Dutchman in the UFC will be back in action. Reinier de Ridder will take on the talented Bo Nickal in Iowa. After this fight, 'RDR' hopes to finally get involved in the title race in the rock-solid middleweight division. In the run-up to the fight, we spoke to De Ridder about his training camp, a possible move to the US and the ever-increasing pressure.

Kill Cliff
It is the second time that De Ridder completes his entire training camp in the United States. In Miami he trains at the renowned gym Kill Cliff FC, which is run by fellow countryman Henri Hooft. Kill Cliff is known as the home base of established names such as Gilbert Burns, Michael Chandler and Shavkat Rakhmonov.
"The biggest difference with training at home is the level and the large amount of good fighters here," De Ridder explains. "There is an endless supply of professionals, all in my weight class or heavier. I can spar with strong guys every day."

Moving to America
De Ridder feels so much at home in Florida now that he is considering settling there permanently. 'We are already looking at schools for the children for next year. If everything goes well, we will start with a year and see how it goes. I love Breda and will always come back there, but fighting is really better here. The training is so good and you are close to the fire if a match pops up at short notice.'
Nickal
During UFC Fight Night in Des Moines he will face Bo Nickal, the wrestling phenomenon who has been undefeated in seven matches since his switch to MMA, six of which he managed to finish. Still, De Ridder is not impressed.
"He's a very good wrestler and has learned a lot in a short time. His footwork is okay, his boxing is not bad and he kicks a little. But it's all not spectacular. He's good, but he still has steps to make."
According to De Ridder, the hype surrounding Nickal is mainly due to his image as a great American promise. He himself is determined to put an end to that. 'Eventually I'm going to find his neck and choke him.'

Only Dutchman
De Ridder hopes to extend his winning streak in the UFC to three via Nickal and thus climb further in the middleweight rankings. He is the only Dutchman who has managed to book such successes at the highest level in recent years. Although he has been active in the MMA world for a long time, he remained relatively unknown among the Dutch public for a long time. He was previously champion in two weight classes at ONE Championship, but he has only really been recognized since his switch to the UFC.

'The attention keeps growing in the Netherlands. I'm even recognized in Breda. That's really special. I haven't experienced that in recent years.' Due to the recent support, he feels more and more strongly that he represents the Netherlands on the highest podium.
