Of course, it's well known by now that Academy Award winning actor Gene Hackman has passed away at the age of 95.

Come to think of it, it might have been easier to list who didn't pick him.
A fine actor, a professional who gave his all to his craft, managed to live life on his own terms and retain his privacy in this absolutely celebrity-crazy world.
