Can someone explain to me if its true that most mob guys have their homes in the names of someone else? For example their house that the reside in will never be listed under their name, but instead a family relative such as their wife or daughter, maybe even a sister.

Seems like they also put business in the names of others
Probably a lot of reasons: can't get certain licenses,like for liquor ; afraid of lawsuits ; possibly collecting checks and not allowed to have other income ; maybe for tax evasion
