Rosenberg added, Netanyahu and all Israelis “have been very grateful for President Trump and his special envoy, Steve Witkoff, who negotiated the deal that has gotten all the Phase One hostages out”

The real problem is that Hamas has said no — twice — and Netanyahu said,

”Look, I’m not going to sit around and just not fight while we continue negotiating and they [Hamas] keep saying no”
Rosenberg noted, he thought the decision to go back to full-scale war in Gaza “might not happen for another month or so — after Ramadan, maybe after Passover” But it’s clear now that Netanyahu did not want to wait that long
