Social media platforms saw the circulation of what appears to be a fabricated document written in Arabic bearing an Israeli Security Agency stamp.
This document stands in stark contrast to legitimate communications issued by IDF Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee, whose authentic messages have called on Gaza residents to evacuate from active combat zones for their safety.
The IDF has firmly rejected these reports, emphasizing that the document referenced in the ABC report is entirely fabricated.
ABC News has since issued a correction, posting on their X account that 1. an "Earlier report of leaflets with disturbing message in Gaza cannot be confirmed; 2. the IDF has denied dropping them."
