Hundreds in Gaza rally against Hamas, demand end to war

Hundreds of Palestinians protested in northern Gaza on Tuesday, demanding an end to the war with Israel and chanting anti-Hamas slogans, witnesses said.

The crowd, mostly men, shouted and chanted, in Beit Lahia, where the crowd had gathered a week after the Israeli army resumed its intense bombing of Gaza following nearly two months of a truce:
1. "Hamas out"
2. "Hamas terrorists"

One Gazan who attended the rally said:
1. the protesters wanted Hamas to end the war
2. and leave the enclave.

Palestinians protested in Gaza on Tuesday in a rare show of dissent against Hamas, with some chanting slogans critical of the armed group’s grip on the territory after more than year of devastating war with Israel.

Palestinians take part in largest anti-Hamas protests in Gaza since start of war

Video obtained by CNN showed large crowds, estimated to be thousands of people by a CNN journalist on the ground, marching through the streets of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, chanting:
1. “For god’s sake, Hamas out,”
2. “Hamas terrorists”
3. “We want an end to the war.”
